Episode #15
Who Are You When You Stop Performing?
Aug 21, 202617 minS2
How much of your life is actually you ..... and how much of it is the version of you you've learned to be for everyone else? The good mum. The reliable one. The strong one. The successful one. The person who keeps everyone happy, remembers everything and somehow manages to hold it all together. But what happens when you stop performing? In this episode, we're looking at the invisible expectations, conditioning and survival patterns that can shape the way we live - often without us even realising it. I'll be asking some uncomfortable questions about identity, self-trust, people-pleasing, midlife, responsibility and that nagging feeling that there must be more. Because sometimes you're not having a crisis. Sometimes you've simply outgrown the version of yourself you've been trying so hard to maintain. And perhaps the question isn't "What's wrong with me?" Perhaps it's...... "What would I choose if I stopped worrying about what everyone else thinks?" This is the episode where awareness starts turning into choice - and where we begin to open the door to the final question of Season 2: What do you actually want?
Are We Raising Children or Managing Algorithms? The Hidden Battle Nobody's Talking About
Aug 14, 202615 minS2
We keep talking about children's screen time, smartphones and social media - but are we actually looking at the real issue? In this episode, I'm going underneath the headlines and looking at why we're all so overstimulated, why boredom has become something we feel we need to fix, and what our own relationship with technology is teaching our children. Because let's be honest - telling our kids to get off their phones while we're scrolling ours isn't exactly the lesson we think we're teaching. I'll talk about parenting in a world that didn't exist when we were growing up, the pressure and guilt parents are carrying, emotional regulation, validation, comparison and the patterns we can unknowingly pass on to our children. And most importantly, I'll explore the difference between controlling behaviour and creating awareness. Because maybe the goal isn't to raise children who never use social media. Maybe it's to raise children who can use it without allowing it to decide who they are. A very real conversation about phones, parenting, patterns and learning to choose instead of simply react.
Summer holidays can be amazing........ but let's be honest, they can also push us right to our limit. If you've found yourself snapping more, feeling guilty, overwhelmed, or wondering why everyone seems to need something from you every five minutes, this episode is for you. We're digging into what emotional regulation actually looks like as a parent - and it's probably not what you've been told. We'll talk about why your nervous system gets overloaded, how your own childhood patterns can sneak into your parenting, and why losing your patience doesn't make you a bad parent. I'll share simple, realistic ways to calm your mind and body when life feels chaotic, without adding another impossible to-do list to your day. Because your children don't need a perfect parent. They need one who's willing to understand themselves, repair when things go wrong, and keep showing up. If you've ever ended the day thinking, "I could have handled that better," I want you to know you're not alone - and you're definitely not failing. Grab a cuppa, take a breath, and let's have a real conversation about surviving (and maybe even enjoying) the summer holidays without losing yourself in the process. If this episode resonates with you, I'd love you to subscribe, leave a review, and share it with another parent who needs to hear that they're doing better than they think.
In a world dominated by endless headlines, AI, global uncertainty and constant digital noise, the greatest threat may not be what's happening around us - but what it's doing to us. This episode explores survival mode, the subconscious mind, nervous system overwhelm and why awareness is the key to reclaiming your peace, perspective and power. Discover how to stop reacting to the world's chaos and start responding from your authentic self. Because the greatest revolution isn't happening in the news - it's happening within you.
Survival Mode - The Alarm System That Forgot to Switch Off
Jul 25, 202610 minS2
In this episode of The Dragonfly Perspective, we explore why survival mode exists, how it once protected our ancestors from real physical danger, and why that same protective system can now be triggered by everyday stresses like conflict, rejection, uncertainty, and overwhelm. You'll discover how the brain's survival responses - fight, flight, freeze and fawn - often show up in modern life as people-pleasing, perfectionism, overthinking, avoidance, emotional outbursts or the inability to rest. These aren't character flaws; they're protective strategies your nervous system learned to keep you safe. We'll also discuss why childhood coping mechanisms can continue into adulthood long after the original danger has passed, and how awareness is the first step towards change. Finally, you'll learn simple, practical ways to begin calming your nervous system, creating space between reaction and response, and teaching your brain that safety is possible again. Because healing isn't about becoming someone different - it's about recognising that your alarm system adapted to survive, and gently helping it realise that you're safe enough to truly live.

Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
