Lucas and Luna run the numbers on the direct-to-consumer economy — not the hype, but the unit economics. Each episode picks a live DTC brand (Hims, Allbirds, Casper, Warby Parker) or a digital retail platform (Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon Seller Central) and dissects its customer acquisition cost, average order value, lifetime value, and capital efficiency. Lucas, a journalist turned ecommerce analyst, traces the story behind the spreadsheet: how Glossier’s supply chain broke, why Brooklinen survived the cotton crisis, what Peloton’s churn rate really tells us. Luna, a former brand operator, pushes back with fulfillment realities, margin math, and the unglamorous work of retention. Together they separate signal from noise — no PR spin, no founder worship, just the data that predicts whether a store or platform will last. This show is for founders, operators, and investors who know that a beautiful website means nothing if the logistics bleed red. Can a DTC brand scale without falling i

How DTC Brands Use Local Fulfillment to Cut Delivery Times
Aug 18, 20269 minS4
In this episode of The Ecommerce Hour, Lucas and Luna explore how direct-to-consumer brands are decentralizing their fulfillment networks to offer faster, cheaper delivery. They dive into the rise of micro-fulfillment centers, the economics of zone skipping, and why brands like Glossier and Allbirds are rethinking their warehouse strategies. The conversation covers real-world examples, including how a small skincare brand cut delivery times from five days to two by partnering with regional 3PLs. They also discuss the trade-offs—higher inventory costs, complex inventory allocation, and the challenge of maintaining real-time visibility. If you're a DTC founder or operations lead wondering whether local fulfillment is right for your brand, this episode offers a practical framework to evaluate the decision. Plus, Lucas and Luna share how listener support keeps the show ad-free, with a link to buy them a coffee. #DTCBrands #Ecommerce #Fulfillment #MicroFulfillment #LocalFulfillment #ShippingStrategy #ZoneSkipping #3PL #InventoryManagement #Glossier #Allbirds #Business #EcommerceTips #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #DTCGrowth #SupplyChain #RetailTrends Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How DTC Brands Use Print-On-Demand to Cut Inventory Risk
Aug 17, 202610 minS4
In this episode of The Ecommerce Hour, Lucas and Luna dive into print-on-demand's quiet transformation of direct-to-consumer retail. They unpack how brands like Printful and Printify are letting small labels sell hoodies and mugs without holding a single unit of inventory — and why giants like Amazon are betting on the same model. From the unit economics of a twenty-five-dollar tee to the logistics of printing and shipping in under five days, they explore where POD wins, where it falls flat, and why quality control is the hidden tax. If you've ever wondered whether print-on-demand is a real business or just a side hustle, this episode gives you the numbers and the nuance. How DTC Brands Use Personalization to Cut Refund Rates
Aug 16, 20266 minS4
In this episode of The Ecommerce Hour, Lucas and Luna explore how direct-to-consumer brands are using personalization to slash refund rates. They dive into a specific case: a fairly young DTC skincare brand that cut refunds by 20% in six months just by tailoring product recommendations and post-purchase follow-ups. The hosts break down the three layers of personalization that matter — pre-purchase quizzes, post-purchase guidance, and returns-avoidance flows — and explain why the classic one-size-fits-all approach backfires. They also touch on the data privacy tightrope and the practical steps any DTC operator can take this quarter. If you run an online store, this episode gives you a concrete playbook to reduce refunds and boost customer loyalty. #DTC #Ecommerce #Personalization #RefundReduction #CustomerRetention #Skincare #ProductQuiz #PostPurchase #ReturnsManagement #CustomerLoyalty #DataPrivacy #OnlineRetail #Business #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #EcommerceTips #DTCBrands #RefundStrategy Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.

Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
