Ep. 046 - Shealyn's Dad: Love, Loss, and Chasing Butterflies.
Jun 21, 202658 minS3
This Father's Day, we're honored to share a powerful conversation with Cory Magee. After the heartbreaking loss of his daughter, Shealyn, Cory found himself navigating a grief that few people truly understand. In this episode, he shares his journey through loss, the impact it had on his mental health, and how finding community through Sad Dads Club helped him move from surviving to healing. Cory also discusses the book he wrote in honor of Shealyn, the lessons he's learned as a grieving father, and why it's so important for dads to have a safe place to share their stories. Whether you've experienced loss yourself or love someone who has, this conversation is a powerful reminder that grief does not have to be carried alone. Today, on Father's Day, we honor all fathers, including those whose children are no longer here to celebrate with them. 🎙️ This episode is sponsored by Sad Dads Club.
