Out Fall long series on spotlighting & combatting the main student motivations for cheating in our classes starts its tour with Cost-Benefit Analysis. Despite our brimstone warnings, students will take our assignments on a case by case basis generally and can consider the costs of cheating vs the benefits. We look at the what of this, as well as why and how we can defuse this by raising the costs AND doing good for teaching along the way.
