Business automation has a reputation problem. It is supposed to give you time back, but most of it ends up feeling cold and robotic, nothing like the business you set out to build. In this episode Emma breaks down how to automate your business without becoming a robot: which tasks to hand off, which ones to protect, and how to build systems that serve your life instead of consuming it. In this episode: Why does so much business automation feel icky, and how do you do it differently? Which tasks should you actually automate, and which ones should you never hand off? How do you save 10+ hours a week without losing the personal touch your clients feel? 🔗 FREE RESOURCES: Freedom & Flow Challenge → https://flowos.tech/7-day-automation-challenge Hustle Culture Webinar → https://go.flowstatescollective.com/hustle-workshop-reg 🚀 GO DEEPER: Automate to Elevate Session (with Tyson) → https://go.flowstatescollective.com/automate-to-elevate-session 🎧 LISTEN ON: Apple Podcasts → https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/the-flow-lane-with-emma-maidment/id1613704445 Spotify → https://open.spotify.com/show/1An4cpe9MgoJB6n5V1cV5N 📱 CONNECT: Instagram → @emmamaidment_ Website → emmamaidment.com #theflowlane #businessautomation #femaleentrepreneur #freedombusiness #systemsforbusiness Thanks for supporting The Flow Lane with Emma Maidment If you like the show be sure to leave us a 5 star rating and review. Ep 70 - Scale Your Business Without Selling Your Soul with Abigail Brown
May 27, 20261 hour
There's a moment in every business when you realise the way you've been working can't keep working. The harder you push, the smaller the world around you gets. The more you "scale," the less you actually live. This week on The Flow Lane, I'm sitting down with Abigail Brown, a serial founder who has built and exited three values-led businesses, including the plant-based superfoods brand Sari Foods and the organic childrenswear label The Simple Folk. Today, alongside her sister-in-law Amy Wilson, Abi co-runs Rebrandr, where they're quietly pioneering what they call the Slow Business Model. Last year, that approach grew their revenue by 181%, and they did it while staying present, healthy, and very much in their own lives. What I love about this conversation is how honest it is. We talk about the part of scaling nobody likes to admit, that the founders who reach the next level aren't the ones working the hardest, they're the ones who finally let go of doing it all themselves. We talk about why systems are the unsexy thing that actually creates freedom, and why most of us avoid them anyway. We talk about scaling without losing yourself, your team, or the soul of what you built. If you've been quietly burning out trying to grow your business, this is the conversation I want you to hear. It's a reminder that there is another way, and that the women living it are already among us. You can find Abi at rebrandr.co.uk or on Instagram at @rebrandr.creative.studio, and listen to her podcast The Slow Circle wherever you get your shows. The best wellness practitioners are often the worst marketers. And it's costing them. If you're a breathwork facilitator, chiropractor, nutritionist, somatic practitioner, yoga teacher, or any kind of wellness pro watching less-skilled people fill rooms and charge premium prices while you struggle to enrol clients, this episode is for you. The work isn't the problem. The way you're packaging and articulating it is. In this episode, Emma breaks down why depth doesn't sell itself, the positioning shift that turns your craft into a scalable offer, and how to build visibility and collaboration strategies that don't require you to hustle on social media all day. Plus, why your energy is part of your marketing whether you realise it or not. In this episode: - Why the most skilled practitioners get out earned by louder, shallower marketers - Selling desires and outcomes instead of modalities and sessions - How to package your work into offers that scale beyond 1:1 - Visibility and collaboration strategies that don't require constant hustle - Why your energy IS your marketing (and how to use that) 📩 SPECIAL LISTENER OFFER: DM Emma the word "POSITIONED" on Instagram (@emmamaidment_) and she'll personally send you her initial thoughts on your positioning. No funnel, no form, just real feedback on how to articulate what you do so the right people pay for it. 🚀 WORK WITH EMMA: Soulful Strategy Session → https://go.flowstatescollective.com/soulful-strategy-session #theflowlane #wellnesspractitioner #breathwork #somaticcoach #wellnessbusiness #positioning #scalableoffer #femaleentrepreneur #freedombusiness To apply for the 1% Club click here Thanks for supporting The Flow Lane with Emma Maidment If you like the show be sure to leave us a 5 star rating and review. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
