Ep115: The Complete Grand Canyon Rim-to-River Guide: South Kaibab-Phantom Ranch-Bright Angel
Aug 19, 20261h 9mS3
Rim-to-River is one of the Grand Canyon's classic hikes—and the descent is only the setup. This complete, step-by-step guide follows the standard route down South Kaibab, through Phantom Ranch and the River Trail, and up Bright Angel, showing you how shuttles, water, shade, heat, pacing, downhill training, and smart turnaround judgment shape the day. Along the way, you'll learn the landmarks that tell you where you really are—from Windy Ridge and the Red and Whites to Devil's Corkscrew and Jacob's Ladder—and the final tunnels to the rim. Aug 12, 202617 minS3
You can be fit, experienced, and still not be ready for the Grand Canyon hike you planned. Ep114: A Grand Canyon Near-Death Experience: Heat Stroke, The ICU, And Learning To Walk Again With Maddie Mineer
Aug 5, 202639 minS3
Maddie Mineer is just 20 years old. She had trained for months and believed she was ready for six days below the rim. Then, in the Grand Canyon heat, her legs stopped working and she called out for her mom and dad: “Something’s wrong.” It is the last thing she remembers before waking up in an ICU. During the missing hours between, Maddie’s family learned she might not survive. This is her story—in her own words—of the hike that nearly killed her and the fight to get her life back. ***** Maddie's GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-maddie-heal-after-grand-canyon-accident ***** The best way to support the show is by considering our top-of-the-line hiking packs for your next adventure, which Brian designed (and now uses) for all of his hikes. Ep113: The Dangerous Gap Between FIT and READY For Grand Canyon Hikes With Steve Martin
Jul 29, 202651 minS3
What happens when “training for life” turns into a first Grand Canyon hike, a wrong turn below the rim, and a month of massive endurance efforts most hikers would never attempt? Steve Martin joins the show to talk about Black Mountain, R3, Cactus to Clouds, Coach Arnie, blisters, doubt, and the quiet decision to become the kind of person who keeps showing up. This is a story about fitness, humility, and what can happen when the people around you expand your idea of possible. ***** The best way to support the show is by considering our top-of-the-line hiking packs for your next adventure, which Brian designed (and now uses) for all of his hikes. Why Grand Canyon's BEST Training Exercise Looks Completely BACKWARD | A Coach Arnie Q&A
Jul 24, 202657 minS3
Most hikers train for the climb. Coach Arnie says that's exactly why so many get beaten up on the way down. In this Coach Arnie Q&A, you'll learn why one of the most effective Grand Canyon training exercises looks completely backward, along with practical advice on preparing your feet, fueling properly, handling the heat, and arriving at the trailhead ready to finish your hike with a smile—not a limp. ***** The best way to support the show is by considering our top-of-the-line hiking packs for your next adventure, which Brian designed (and now uses) for all of his hikes. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
