Every growth marketer knows the math: acquisition without activation is a leaky funnel, and retention without loops is a treadmill. This show is the whiteboard session where Lucas and Luna break down the actual mechanics of getting users in, getting them hooked, and getting them to bring others. No platitudes, no 'growth hacks' — just cohort analyses, unit economics, and the network effects that separate fleeting spikes from compound growth. Lucas draws from real case studies (Dropbox's referral program, Duolingo's streak mechanics, Superhuman's activation thresholds) and recent public data; Luna challenges assumptions about cost per acquisition and lifetime value, pushing the conversation toward the second-order effects that most playbooks miss. Together, they dissect what makes a loop self-sustaining, when to optimize for speed over retention, and why the best growth strategies often feel counterintuitive. Each episode lands on a single tension: the trade-off between virality and qua

Aug 17, 202611 minS4
In this episode of The Growth Marketing Podcast, Lucas and Luna dig into the welcome email as an untapped growth loop. Using the example of a fictional SaaS onboarding flow, they break down how a single line in a welcome email can turn new users into referrers before they've even hit activation. They discuss the psychology of early momentum, the timing of referral asks, and the surprising data on when users are most likely to share. With a nod to real-world patterns from companies like Dropbox and PayPal, they explore why the welcome email is the perfect place to plant a referral seed, and how to design it without hurting activation metrics. The Growth Loop Hiding in Your Product's 404 Error Page
Aug 16, 20269 minS4
Episode 160 of The Growth Marketing Podcast digs into an unexpected place for a growth loop: the 404 error page. Lucas and Luna explore how a cleverly designed 404 can turn a dead end into a conversion opportunity, citing real-world examples like GitHub's Star Wars-themed 404 and the classic Lego 404 page. They break down the psychology behind why users land on 404s, how to diagnose error paths with analytics, and the specific elements that turn a frustrating moment into a brand-building, lead-capturing, or referral-generating experience. The hosts also discuss the balance between playful and functional, and how to test and iterate on your 404 page just like any other landing page. If you've ever wondered how to turn a negative moment into a positive metric, this episode is a must-listen. The Growth Loop Hidden in Your Product's Billing Retry Flow
Aug 15, 20268 minS4
When a credit card expires or a payment fails, most companies just send a dunning email and hope for the best. But the billing retry flow is one of the most underused growth surfaces in SaaS — a moment when engaged customers are at their most attentive and most frustrated. In this episode, Lucas and Luna pull apart the mechanics of failed payments: why the recovery rate plummets after the first attempt, how the timing and tone of your retry sequence can turn churn into retention, and why the companies that treat billing as a relationship moment, not a transaction, see dramatically lower involuntary churn. They look at real retention numbers, walk through a simple three-touch retry cadence, and debate where the line is between helpful and pushy. Plus, a practical tip: how to use your payment failure page as a proactive support channel. If you've ever lost a customer to a declined card, this episode is for you. #GrowthMarketing #BillingRetry #ChurnReduction #RetentionLoop #DunningEmail #PaymentFailure #SaaS #InvoluntaryChurn #CustomerRetention #MarketingTips #BusinessPodcast #FexingoBusiness #Podcast #BillingStrategy #RevenueOperations #Subscriptions #CustomerExperience #GrowthHacks Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
The Growth Loop Hiding in Your Product's Password Reset
Aug 14, 20268 minS4
In this episode, Lucas and Luna dive into an unexpected growth lever hiding in plain sight: the password reset flow. They explore how a forgotten password can become a re-engagement opportunity, using the example of a SaaS tool that recovered 12 percent of churning users by redesigning its reset email and landing page. The hosts break down the psychology of the 'reset moment' — when a user returns after weeks away — and show how a simple message can turn frustration into a habit-forming nudge. They discuss A/B testing results, the importance of timing, and why a good reset flow isn't just about security but about retention. Listeners will learn a concrete tactic to apply to their own products, plus a broader lesson about finding growth in the most mundane touchpoints. Tune in for a fresh take on a classic UX pattern, with actionable insights for marketers and product teams alike. #GrowthMarketing #PasswordReset #UserRetention #SaaS #MarketingPodcast #ConversionOptimization #CustomerExperience #A/BTesting #EmailMarketing #ProductLedGrowth #ChurnReduction #BehavioralEconomics #UserOnboarding #DigitalMarketing #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #MarketingStrategy #RetentionLoop Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
