Episode #43
I stopped struggling when I decided to quit this…
What if the reason life feels so freaking hard isn’t because you need to become stronger, more disciplined, more productive or better at handling stress? What if you’re carrying things you were never meant to carry in the first place? In this episode, I’m challenging one of the biggest beliefs I see in ambitious entrepreneurs: That struggle is somehow virtuous. That working harder proves you want it badly enough. That exhaustion means you’re ambitious. That the dark night of the soul is simply the admission price for an extraordinary life. I don’t believe that anymore. I’ve made millions. I’ve worked my ass off. I’ve chased, forced, built, failed, succeeded and spent years learning how to stop feeling guilty when life actually feels GOOD. And somewhere along the way, I realised something: I don’t want more success if it requires more and more of my life to create it. In this episode, I’m giving you five questions that have changed the way I think about work, wealth, ambition and what I’m actually willing to give my life to. Including: If nobody was impressed by how hard you worked, would you still do it anyway? What am I trying to become better at tolerating that I could simply remove? If I wanted double the results with half the effort, what would I have to stop doing? What am I building that future me might actually want to escape from? And… If I was designing my life today from scratch, what would I refuse to put back into it? This is not about shrinking your dreams. Hell no. I still want the money. The travel. The adventure. The beautiful things. The impact. The creation. ALL of it. I just want more of what I want without sacrificing the parts of my life that make having it worthwhile. You’re allowed to change the rules. You’re allowed to have the money and the peace. And maybe the thing you need to quit isn’t your business, your ambition or your dreams. Maybe it’s the belief that success has to hurt.
