Recovery, Laughter, and Success | Ken Cox
Aug 12, 202635 min
Ken Cox went from a childhood spent surviving to running a St. Louis data center, coaching young boxers, and writing a bestselling recovery book he originally refused to write. He tells Jocelyn Moore why every program he tried failed him until he changed one thing the story he told himself about who he was. Boxing, business, comedy, and a Georgia jail cell all show up in a conversation about rebuilding a life from the identity outward. Ken shares: β Identity-based recovery versus traditional programs β Building a St. Louis data center business from the dot-com era forward β Stand-up comedy as healing, stigma-breaking, and executive AI coaching Chapters/Timestamps 00:00 Cold Open & Introduction 01:01 Kenβs Rough Start: Childhood, Family & Street Mentors 03:43 Boxing as a Path to Healing 09:51 Building a Business Empire 13:25 Reclaim Sobriety: Writing the Book & Finding Identity 18:56 Comedy, Recovery & the Georgia Arrest Story 29:36 Reflection, Whatβs Next & Where to Follow Ken Connect with Ken Cox: Website: kencox.com | coxout.com Connect with Jocelyn Moore and support the show below: https://www.jmentertainment.info https://linktr.ee/thejocelynmooreshow Want to be a guest? Teri M. Brown spent years writing copy for small businesses and hiding the fiction she desperately wanted to write until leaving an abusive relationship, riding a tandem bike across the United States, and deciding she could do anything. Fourteen months later her first novel was out. Now she has three novels, a memoir, a children's book, and a new comedic take on menopause coming this spring. She joins Jocelyn Moore for a warm, wide-ranging conversation about writing, research, healing, relationships, and why there's never just one right way to do anything. Teri covers: β Writing fiction in secret for years inside an abusive relationship β and what changed when she left β Good editing takes a book from good to really good β even for self-publishers β Beach walks, sunrise therapy, and the perspective the ocean gives you when the world is closing in Chapters/Timestamps 00:19 Introducing Teri M. Second Chance Life: Near-Death at 7, the Air Force, PTSD & a Creative Empire Built From Purpose
Jul 1, 202635 min
Peter Gunn died at seven years old from heat stroke, had a near-death experience complete with a life review and an angel who sent him back, and came home with prophetic gifts he learned to keep quiet. What followed across the next four decades: a childhood obesity battle he solved at the library, a bodybuilding career that started at 18, the U.S. Air Force, PTSD from a mortar strike in Afghanistan, a new poetic form he invented to bring poetry to Gen Z, an epic poem written for his daughter, and a band formed with strangers in Germany. Peter Gunn joins Jocelyn Moore for a second chance life story unlike anything this show has featured. Peter shares: β Near-death experience at age 7: the light body, the tunnel, the life review, the angel at the gate β PTSD: a mortar strike in Afghanistan, an incoming siren that triggered him at a car dealership β The Amazons : an epic poem written for his daughter β because no one had written an epic for the heroine Chapters/Timestamps 00:00 A Journey of Near-Death Experience 03:02 The Impact of Childhood Trauma 05:53 Overcoming Obesity and Finding Strength 08:46 The Military Experience and PTSD 17:51 The Power of Music and Poetry 21:08 Creating a New Genre: Linked Lyrical Poetry 26:50 Empowering Narratives in Literature 30:05 Future Aspirations and Projects Connect with Jason Lange: π Website: Peter Gunn Connect with Jocelyn Moore and support the show below: π https://www.jmentertainment.info π± https://linktr.ee/thejocelynmooreshow Want to be a guest? <p>Jason Lange has spent over a decade helping men break out of the man box, the cultural pressure to be invulnerable, self-sufficient, and emotionally silent at any cost. As the founder of Evolutionary Men, he leads men's groups and coaches individuals through shadow work: the process of identifying the unconscious patterns and beliefs driving behavior men don't understand and can't seem to stop. He joins Jocelyn Moore for a wide-ranging conversation about dating authentically, the honeymoon phase myth, why rage is the only approved male emotion, what men's groups actually do, and why connection might be the most underrated...
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
