What Would George Washington Think of America in 2026? | William Gensburger
Aug 14, 20261h 11m
What would George Washington think if he suddenly returned to America in 2026? Would he recognize the country he helped create—or wonder how far it had drifted from the principles of its founding? Author William Gensburger joins Joe for a wide-ranging conversation inspired by The Path of Duty and Honor , the political thriller he co-authored with bestselling author J.C. Ryan. The novel brings George Washington into modern America and uses fiction to explore questions surrounding the Constitution, civic responsibility, political division, American history, and the future of the country. But the conversation doesn't stop with Washington. Joe and William explore America's growing political divide, how history is taught and understood, whether the nation has moved away from its founding ideals, and what earlier generations might make of modern American culture. They also venture into William's other projects, including The Quantum Keys , an international thriller series built around technology capable of defeating virtually any digital security system, and A Boy Called Swift , a very different story about a child whose entire life unfolds at an extraordinary pace. The conversation eventually turns to artificial intelligence and the future of writing . William explains how he uses AI as a research and critique tool without allowing it to replace the writer, why human voice still matters, and why technology should support creativity rather than become a substitute for it. Along the way, Joe and William talk storytelling, quantum technology, publishing, shrinking attention spans, political power, constitutional government, American culture, and why good fiction can sometimes ask questions that nonfiction cannot. At the center of it all is one deceptively simple question: If George Washington could see America today, what would he say to us? After more than six months of studying the Book of Revelation chapter by chapter, we have reached the end. In this final installment of our study of the Book of Revelation, Joe examines Revelation Chapters 21 and 22 and what Scripture reveals about eternity: the new heaven and new earth, New Jerusalem, the River of Life, the Tree of Life, the end of the curse, and God's eternal dwelling with His people . Revelation 19 brought us to the conclusion of the Tribulation. Revelation 20 showed us the Millennial Kingdom, Satan's final rebellion, and the Great White Throne Judgment. But Revelation does not end with judgment. It ends with God making all things new . What is the New Jerusalem? Why is there no temple within the city? What does the Bible mean when it says there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain? Why does the Tree of Life appear again after first being introduced in Genesis? And how much can we really know about eternity from what God has revealed in Scripture? Joe explores these questions while also acknowledging the mysteries surrounding Revelation's final chapters and distinguishing between what Scripture states clearly and areas where we can only speculate. Most importantly, this study brings the entire biblical story full circle. Genesis begins with God and man together in a perfect creation. Sin enters, mankind falls, and everything that follows tells the story of what God does about it. Revelation ends with what was lost restored, what sin corrupted made new, and what death took away replaced with life. After 22 chapters, Jesus Christ leaves us with one final promise: “Surely I come quickly.” And John's answer remains the prayer of every believer: “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Join us as we conclude our complete Sunday Bible Study journey through the Book of Revelation . Life can change in an instant. For award-winning author and poet Linda Drattell , that change came through two life-altering experiences: losing her hearing as an adult and surviving the 2016 terrorist attack in Nice, France. Rather than allowing those events to define her, she transformed them into stories of resilience, humor, hope, and the courage to remain true to herself. In this episode Joe and Linda explore the deeper lessons that emerge from adversity, discuss the pressure society places on people to conform, and examine how writing can become a powerful tool for healing and personal growth. Linda also shares insights into her award-winning poetry, children's literature, and her upcoming satirical novel, The Pecadillos of Philomena Phipps , a story that challenges modern conformity while celebrating individuality. Inside the Minds of Serial Killers, Cults & Criminal Psychology | Alan R. Warren
Jul 31, 20261h 18m
What makes ordinary people follow dangerous leaders? Why are we fascinated by serial killers? And what can criminal psychology teach us about manipulation, cults, and human nature? In this thought-provoking episode, bestselling true crime author and syndicated radio host Alan R. Warren joins Joe for a wide-ranging conversation about serial killers, cult leaders, criminal profiling, media fascination with violence, and the psychology behind some of history's most notorious criminals. Drawing from decades of research and interviews, Alan shares insights into Charles Manson, cult behavior, manipulation, evil, criminal psychology, and why understanding darkness can help us recognize deception in everyday life. This isn't simply a discussion about crime—it's a deeper conversation about human nature, critical thinking, media influence, and recognizing manipulation before it takes hold. Guest: Alan R.
