Owen shares what happened when he tried to close on a new house while traveling, including mobile notaries, delayed documents, wire problems, sellers waiting on another closing, and the domino effect one delayed transaction can create. Ted also gives an update on the flip Owen brought to him on the podcast—and explains why completing another real estate deal somehow required him to buy a 2011 Ford Ranger with only around 56,000 miles. They also get into the side of real estate investing nobody puts on Instagram: failed AC units, broken sewer lines, contractors, surprise repair bills, rehab decisions, and tens of thousands of dollars disappearing almost overnight.
