Lucas and Luna dissect the machinery behind modern marketing operations — the software stacks, automation workflows, and data pipelines that turn campaigns into measurable systems. Each episode picks apart a specific MarTech tool or ops strategy: how a retailer automated its email segmentation with Customer.io, why a B2B SaaS company rebuilt its attribution model around HubSpot and Snowflake, or the trade-offs between Zapier and Make for lead routing. Lucas, a former marketing ops lead, grounds every discussion in actual implementations and failure cases; Luna challenges assumptions about efficiency gains and hidden costs — the 'automation tax' of maintenance, the data-quality debt that accumulates when teams move too fast. They never pitch tools or evangelize automation for its own sake. Instead, they ask: Does this stack actually reduce friction for the marketing team? Or are we just layering complexity? The listener is the marketing ops manager, the growth engineer, or the CMO who w

How Marketing Ops Reuses Your Best Content
Aug 18, 20268 minS4
In this episode, Lucas and Luna explore how B2B marketing teams are turning their top-performing content into scalable revenue assets. They dig into a concrete case: a SaaS company that used its most-viewed webinar to build a full-funnel nurture sequence, cutting cost per lead by 32 percent. The conversation covers practical tactics like repurposing for different stages, using engagement data to trigger follow-ups, and creating content that feeds both sales and marketing. They also touch on the classic mistake of treating content as a one-and-done asset instead of a living system. If you're in marketing ops or content strategy, you'll walk away with a clear playbook for squeezing more value from what you've already created. #MarketingOps #ContentRepurposing #B2BMarketing #MarketingAutomation #ContentStrategy #RevenueGrowth #MarketingTechnology #SaaSMarketing #WebinarMarketing #NurtureSequences #ContentROI #MarketingPodcast #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #LucasAndLuna #MarketingOperator #ContentLifecycle #DemandGen Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
How Marketing Ops Turns Unsubscribe Data into Revenue
Aug 17, 20268 minS4
In this episode of The Marketing Operator Podcast, Lucas and Luna dig into a data source most marketing teams treat as a dead end: unsubscribe requests. They explain why churn signals are actually rich behavioral data, how a travel brand used exit-survey responses to reshape its email calendar and win back lapsed customers, and why the 'one-click unsubscribe' rule gave marketers a gift in disguise. Lucas breaks down the difference between channel fatigue and message fatigue, and Luna shares a story about a B2B SaaS company that cut its email frequency by half and saw qualified demo requests rise 22 percent. They also discuss the ethics of using unsubscribe data, the risk of over-personalizing exit surveys, and how to build a win-back flow that feels helpful instead of desperate. If you've ever wondered what happens after someone clicks unsubscribe, this episode will change how you read your churn data. #MarketingOps #UnsubscribeData #EmailMarketing #ChurnAnalysis #CustomerRetention #WinBackCampaigns #MarketingAutomation #CustomerLifetimeValue #ExitSurveys #EmailFrequency #DataDrivenMarketing #B2BMarketing #B2CMarketing #CustomerExperience #MarketingAnalytics #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Marketing Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode of The Marketing Operator Podcast, Lucas and Luna explore how B2B marketing teams can unlock hidden revenue by mining their paid and organic search data. They dive into the 2025 Google Search Central update that introduced new AI-driven query categories, and walk through a real example from a mid-sized SaaS company that used long-tail keyword analysis to double their demo conversion rate. Lucas explains why most teams only look at top-level impressions and clicks, missing the rich intent signals buried in search queries. Luna challenges the conventional focus on high-volume keywords, and together they discuss how to build a search-to-revenue dashboard that connects search performance to actual pipeline. They also cover the role of AI overviews, the shift toward conversational queries, and why search data is becoming a competitive advantage for agile marketing ops teams. The episode wraps with a practical framework for turning search insights into content and campaign decisions. If you're in marketing ops, this is a must-listen. #MarketingOps #SearchData #PaidSearch #OrganicSearch #RevenueMarketing #B2BMarketing #MarketingAutomation #LongTailSEO #SearchIntent #AISearch #MarketingAnalytics #PipelineGrowth #SaaSMarketing #GoogleSearchCentral #Business #Marketing #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode of The Marketing Operator Podcast, Lucas and Luna dig into the revenue hiding in your customer journey data. They start with a concrete example: a B2B SaaS company that discovered a seven-day delay between a demo request and the first sales touchpoint, costing them an estimated 12 percent of pipeline. The hosts walk through how to map journey stages against actual behavior, which metrics matter at each step, and why most teams are measuring the wrong things. They also talk about the danger of over-segmentation, the difference between journey data and funnel data, and how to tie journey analytics back to revenue. Lucas brings in a case from a financial services brand that used journey data to improve onboarding adoption by 18 percent, and Luna pushes back on the idea that more data is always better. They close with a practical framework for running a journey audit without getting lost in the weeds. If you're in marketing ops and you've ever felt like your automation is firing at the wrong time or not at all, this episode gives you a clear starting point. #CustomerJourneyData #MarketingOperations #MarTech #Automation #RevenueOperations #JourneyMapping #MarketingAnalytics #B2BMarketing #SaaSMarketing #FinancialServices #Onboarding #LeadManagement #DataDrivenMarketing #MarketingAutomation #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Marketing #CareerGrowth Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
