Why I Meditate For My Children (And Not For Myself)
Sep 2, 20269 min
If you struggle to stay consistent with your meditation or mindfulness practice, you are probably making one critical mistake: you are doing it for yourself. In this episode, I share why the typical self-development approach to meditation eventually leads to a plateau, and how shifting your reason from selfish to selfless makes the practice completely non-negotiable. I open up about the painful $80,000 custody battle that forced me to look into Eastern philosophy, how my teenage son holds me accountable to my practice, and what waking up at 4:00 AM for rowing practice taught me about the psychology of showing up. If you want to be a patient, grounded, and emotionally safe father, this reframe will change everything. What We Cover: The real reason you keep falling off track with your daily meditation and journaling habits How a brutal three-year custody battle led me to mindfulness and Buddhist philosophy Why it is so easy to negotiate our own self-improvement but impossible to skip out when others are depending on us The 4:00 AM rowing team analogy that will completely shift how you view your daily routines How to transition your mindfulness practice from a personal goal to an act of service for your kids Resources: Free Starter Guide for Dads (SEE, STEADY, LOOSEN, RETURN): https://threesixfivedad.kit.com/innershadow 365 Dad Journal: https://www.threesixfivedad.com/products/365-dad-journal-physical Work With Me 1:1 Coaching: https://www.threesixfivedad.com/pages/1-1-coaching-service Subscribe to the Inner Journey Dad Newsletter: https://odeani.substack.com/ Send us Fan Mail
How to Talk to Your Kids About Hard Emotions (When Nobody Taught You How)
Aug 18, 202612 min
Most men were raised in environments where expressing hard emotions wasn't modeled, allowed, or encouraged. In this episode, I share what happened when I hit a personal low point and called my father expecting nothing, and how his surprising reaction completely shattered my assumptions about emotional connection. We dive deep into breaking the generational cycle of stoicism, why learning to sit with your own uncomfortable feelings is a prerequisite for parenting, and what it felt like when my 14-year-old son looked me in the eyes and said, "Dad, I feel broken." This episode is a guide for any father who wants to create a safe space where his children never feel like they have to hide their pain. What We Cover: Why millennial dads struggle to hold emotional space when their own parents never held it for them The unexpected phone call with my father during my MBA program that changed our entire relationship Why you must master sitting with your own hard emotions before you can guide your kids through theirs The moment my 14-year-old son told me "Dad, I feel broken" and why I viewed that as a major fatherhood win Practical steps to teach your children, especially your sons, that vulnerability is an act of strength Resources: Free Starter Guide for Dads (SEE, STEADY, LOOSEN, RETURN): https://threesixfivedad.kit.com/innershadow 365 Dad Journal: https://www.threesixfivedad.com/products/365-dad-journal-physical Work With Me 1:1: https://www.threesixfivedad.com/pages/1-1-coaching-service Subscribe to the Inner Journey Dad Newsletter: https://odeani.substack.com/ Send us Fan Mail

Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
