Ep. 154 | Deuteronomy Pt. 14
In Deuteronomy 24–25, God calls His people to remember who they are without His provision and to live with complete dependence on Him. From leaving behind excess for those in need to keeping only “full and fair” weights, Israel was commanded to remove the back-up systems that allowed them to rely on something other than God. In this message, Pastor Jason explores what those “back-up plans” look like in our lives and in the church—manipulation, compromise, avoiding correction, resisting reconciliation, or searching for a version of Christianity that requires less obedience. When our dependence on God becomes conditional, faithful obedience becomes impossible. But failure is not final. God restores and renews those who repent, and repentance itself begins by acknowledging our need for Him. For more info visit RGMCA.ORG
