In this blind fragrance review, I’m opening the collection for the first time and sharing my completely unscripted reactions—without reading the scent descriptions or fragrance notes beforehand. In this episode of The Pauline Chilton Show , I smell and review five fragrances from the Lone Star Candle Supply Outlaw Collection : Desperado • Gunpowder • Open Range • Ranch Hand • Western Lace From smooth leather and woody fragrances to fresh greenery, florals and unexpected fruity notes, this collection gave me plenty of surprises. I share what I smell in each fragrance straight out of the bottle, how the scents compare, and which ones I think could work especially well in candles and other home fragrance products. As a candle maker, smelling a fragrance oil out of the bottle is only the beginning. I’m particularly interested in how these fragrances perform once they're actually made into candles—including their cold throw, hot throw and overall scent character in wax . And yes, there are several from this collection that I definitely want to test! I also talk about why candle makers should pay attention to each supplier's recommended product applications before using a fragrance oil in candles, soaps, personal care products, room sprays or diffusers. I'm honored to share this special feature from an unforgettable evening at 15th Street Farm in St. Petersburg, Florida, where I was invited by Alexis Baum , host of AB Sees You , to participate in an Ikigai Dinner celebrating purpose, connection, and community. With Alexis's gracious permission, I'm excited to bring this special spinoff episode to The Pauline Chilton Show . The evening gathered an incredible group of people who care deeply about their local community. Over a meal prepared with fresh ingredients grown right at the farm, strangers became friends, stories were shared, and conversations centered around a simple but powerful question: What is your ikigai? —your reason for being. During the evening, I had the privilege of recording my own spontaneous interview with Randee Baum, where we talked about embracing spontaneity, finding joy in life's unexpected moments, and the beauty of bringing people together around good food and meaningful conversation. It was a reminder that purpose isn't always found in grand accomplishments. Sometimes it's found in showing up, listening, and sharing a table with people who genuinely care about making the world around them a little better. What made this evening especially meaningful to me wasn't just participating in the recording—it was experiencing a community built on kindness, curiosity, generosity, and connection. In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, this dinner reminded me that healing begins with relationships, that every person has a story worth hearing, and that communities become stronger when we intentionally create spaces where people feel seen and valued. What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
