Lucas and Luna deconstruct the mechanics behind podcast growth — not as theory, but as applied audio marketing. Each episode picks one real show (or network) and reverse-engineers its audience strategy: why certain episode hooks drive downloads, how cross-promotion swaps actually affect subscriber counts, and what Apple Podcasts chart algorithms reward in 2024. They bring receipts — referencing specific CTA tests, SEO metadata tweaks, and ad-read placement data from shows like 'The Economics of Everyday Things' or 'Acquired'. The listener is a podcaster who already has 30+ episodes under their belt and wants to move beyond basic advice into measurable tactics. Lucas draws on his years as a journalist covering the podcast industry; Luna challenges every assumption with counterexamples from indie shows that broke out without a network push. The conversation avoids hype: no 'growth hacks,' no 'audience-building secrets.' Instead, they ask: When Katz’s 80/20 rule applies to episode promotion, which 20% of your feed should you actually spend ad dollars on? If you walk away without a specific change to your show's metadata or trailer strategy, they haven't done their job. #PodcastMarketing #AudienceGrowth #ShowPromotion #AudioStrategy #ApplePodcasts #SpotifyForPodcasters #PodcastSEO #PodcastAnalytics #RSSMarketing #EpisodeHooks #CrossPromotion #ChartAlgorithms #IndiePodcasting #PodcastCTA #Marketing #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #PodcastGrowth Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

In this episode of The Podcast Marketing Podcast, Lucas and Luna dive into the underappreciated art of the podcast episode teaser image—the square artwork that shows up in your feed and often decides whether a potential listener hits play or scrolls past. They break down why visual consistency builds trust, how a single design choice can lift click-through rates, and the surprising impact of using real faces over abstract graphics. Drawing on a case study from a mid-sized business podcast that doubled its episode starts after a teaser image refresh, they walk through the practical elements: color contrast, typography, and the psychology of visual recognition. They also discuss how teaser images work across different platforms, from Apple Podcasts to Spotify, and why the same image that works in a dark mode feed might fail in a bright one. If you've ever wondered whether that little square actually matters, this episode gives you the numbers and the why. Plus, a quick note on how listener support keeps the show ad-free. #PodcastMarketing #TeaserImages #AudienceGrowth #PodcastArtwork #VisualBranding #ClickThroughRate #PodcastGrowth #MarketingStrategy #PodcastDesign #ListenerEngagement #ContentMarketing #PodcastTips #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #Marketing #PodcastPromotion #VisualContent #PodcastStrategy Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

In this episode of The Podcast Marketing Podcast, Lucas and Luna explore how live events can become a powerful engine for podcast audience growth. They examine the surprising numbers behind ticket sales and listener engagement, using recent examples like the success of live podcast tours for shows like My Favorite Murder and The Joe Rogan Experience. The conversation digs into the psychology of why fans pay to see a podcast recorded in person, the role of scarcity and exclusivity, and how even small shows can leverage local meetups and live-streamed recordings to build community. Lucas shares a concrete framework for deciding if live events are worth the effort, based on listener loyalty and market size. Luna challenges the assumption that live events only work for big names, offering a counter-example of a niche true-crime podcast that filled a 200-seat venue. They also discuss practical tips for promoting live events, pricing strategies, and how to convert attendees into superfans. Whether you're a seasoned podcaster or just starting out, this episode offers actionable insights into using live experiences to deepen listener relationships and drive sustainable growth. #PodcastMarketing #LiveEvents #AudienceGrowth #ListenerEngagement #MyFavoriteMurder #JoeRogan #TrueCrimePodcast #CommunityBuilding #PodcastTour #LiveShow #PodcastGrowth #MarketingStrategy #PodcastPromotion #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #MarketingPodcast #AudienceDevelopment #PodcastTips Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode of The Podcast Marketing Podcast, Lucas and Luna explore the surprising power of audiograms—short, shareable video snippets of your podcast audio with a waveform visual—for growing your audience. They break down how a single audiogram helped a small business podcast double its social reach in three weeks, and why the combination of sight and sound drives engagement far better than plain audio clips. The conversation covers the psychology behind the format, the practical steps to create one without a design team, and the exact metrics to watch to know if your audiograms are working. If you've ever wondered whether those little video waveforms actually move the needle, this episode gives you the evidence and the playbook. Plus, a reminder that listener support keeps the show ad-free. #AudiogramMarketing #PodcastPromotion #AudienceGrowth #PodcastMarketing #SocialMedia #VideoMarketing #ContentMarketing #PodcastTips #MarketingStrategy #DigitalMarketing #CreatorEconomy #PodcastGrowth #AudioMarketing #VisualMarketing #Business #Marketing #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
