Hello and welcome to the 'Rewind Sessions'. This podcast is for anyone who’s ever heard a song and felt time collapse — suddenly you’re back in your first flat, your school, your parents’ living room, or at a concert with friends. It’s especially for those of us 40 and up who grew up with vinyl, cassettes, CDs, and radio countdowns — and still feel the pull of music from the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s and 00s. It is also for anyone with a love of music no matter your age. Each episode dives into one song that takes me back to a specific moment in time — not just to the year it was released, but to the year it mattered. We explore the full album it came from, the story behind the artist, what was happening in the world, and why it still resonates today. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a curious listener, the Rewind Sessions is your space to reflect, rediscover, and reconnect — one track at a time. Episode #12
Ep 12 - These Days by The Foo Fighters (2011)
Mar 18, 202625 minS1

For the final episode of Season 1, we’re heading back to December 2011, to a night that still echoes through Tāmaki Makaurau — the Foo Fighters at Western Springs. This week’s track, “These Days” from the album Wasting Light, captures everything the band does best: raw emotion, stadium‑sized energy, and that unmistakable Dave Grohl grit.

This finale is a celebration: of the band, the song, and everyone who’s come along for the ride this season. Whether you were in the crowd that night or you’re discovering the track anew, this episode is a reminder of why live music...

In this episode, we dive into the album that didn’t just redefine Green Day, it reshaped an entire era of rock. Released in September 2004, American Idiot marked the moment the three‑chord punks from Oakland transformed into one of the most ambitious and culturally resonant bands of their generation.

We explore how the band channelled post 9/11 tension, media saturation, and political frustration into a bold, theatrical concept album following the rise and collapse of the “Jesus of Suburbia” anti‑hero. From the explosive title track to the sprawling nine‑minute punk opera at the album’s core, American...
Ep 10 - Never Too Late by Kylie Minogue (1989 and 2014)
Mar 5, 202632 minS1

In this episode, we rewind to two very different points in life, connected by one timeless Kylie Minogue classic. First, we head back to 1989 and Kylie’s sparkling second album Enjoy Yourself, where “Never Too Late” first burst into the world — all bright pop, big optimism, and pure Stock Aitken Waterman magic. Then we fast‑forward to 2014, when Kylie reimagined the same song for The Abbey Road Sessions, transforming it into a tender, orchestral lullaby that carried you through the early days of parenthood.

It’s the same song, two eras, two emotional landscapes — from the excitement of being an 11...

In this episode, we head back to the West Midlands for the beginning of a new millennium. The memory moment is a melange of stories that show the zeitgeist of youth and unplanned days and nights out! The song is a belter, Superstition by Stevie Wonder. One of the best songs ever written in my view! So come on, let's rewind together to memories from the 2000 and looking back to 1972 when the album was released.

This podcast uses the following third-party services for analysis:

Podcorn - https://podcorn.com/privacy
Ep 8 - In these arms by Bovi - In JBJs hand (2006)
Feb 11, 202644 minS1

In this episode of The Rewind Sessions, Tracy revisits Bon Jovi’s iconic 1992 power‑ballad In These Arms from the Keep the Faith album. And recalls the moment where she got up close with Jon on Jovi. The year is 2006, so come back in time and see what was going on back then!

This podcast uses the following third-party services for analysis:

Podcorn - https://podcorn.com/privacy
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
