Lucas and Luna examine the state of autonomous systems and industrial robotics, from the latest in sensor fusion and manipulation algorithms to the business realities of deploying hardware at scale. Each episode picks a specific robot class— collaborative arms, autonomous mobile robots, humanoids—and traces its technical lineage, market adoption, and the engineering trade-offs that determine whether a prototype becomes a factory staple. Lucas, with a journalist’s precision, dissects recent papers from ICRA and IROS, while Luna pushes on cost-per-unit, reliability metrics, and the supply chains behind actuators and compute modules. They name companies—Fanuc, ABB, Boston Dynamics, Agility Robotics—and the real numbers behind their deployments. Who pays for these robots? Which industries see positive ROI, and which are still waiting for the killer app? The listener leaves with a clear map of where the hardware stands and what it takes to turn a research breakthrough into a product that wo

Episode #201
The Hidden Cost of Industrial Robot Maintenance
Sep 29, 20268 minS5
Most factories treat robot maintenance as a simple repair bill, but the real cost lies in unplanned downtime and calibration drift. In this episode, Lucas and Luna break down how predictive maintenance algorithms are changing the economics of industrial automation. We look at a specific case where a mid-sized manufacturer reduced unplanned stoppages by forty percent through sensor data analysis, and why traditional time-based service schedules are costing businesses millions. #IndustrialRobotics #PredictiveMaintenance #ManufacturingEfficiency #AutomationStrategy #RobotCalibration #DowntimeCosts #SensorData #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechInnovation #OperationalExcellence #RoboticsEngineering #FactoryOptimization #MachineLearning #SupplyChainResilience #LucasAndLuna #HardwareTech #FutureOfWork Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Lucas and Luna dig into the mechanical reality behind why even the most advanced autonomous systems struggle with delicate manipulation. They examine the specific trade-offs between torque, speed, and sensory feedback in modern robotic grippers, using a recent case study from a leading industrial automation firm to illustrate the hidden physics of precision work. The conversation explores how engineers are bypassing traditional motor-driven designs with soft robotics and tactile sensors to solve the dexterity gap that has stalled warehouse scaling. #Robotics #Automation #IndustrialEngineering #SoftRobotics #SupplyChainTech #ManufacturingInnovation #MachineLearning #ControlSystems #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechnologyTrends #FutureOfWork #Logistics #EngineeringDesign #SensorTechnology #EconomicEfficiency #TechInvestment #OperationalExcellence Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We explore the hidden physics of robotic precision, focusing on the specific mechanical and computational bottlenecks that prevent industrial arms from handling delicate tasks. Using examples from semiconductor manufacturing and small-part assembly, we break down why force feedback loops often lag behind visual processing. This episode also features a brief support segment for our ad-free network. #Robotics #IndustrialAutomation #PrecisionEngineering #Cobots #ForceFeedback #SensorFusion #ManufacturingTech #HardwareDesign #ControlSystems #RoboticsEngineering #SupplyChainTech #TechInnovation #BusinessOfTech #FutureOfWork #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechnologyTrends #OperationalEfficiency Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We examine why deploying a single robotic arm still costs roughly ten thousand dollars beyond the hardware itself. Lucas and Luna break down the invisible expenses of integration, safety guarding, and custom end-effectors that turn a cheap robot into an expensive project. Using a specific case study from a mid-sized packaging facility, we reveal how these hidden costs delay adoption and change the ROI math for small manufacturers. #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #RoboticsIntegration #IndustrialAutomation #ManufacturingCosts #Cobots #ROIAnalysis #SupplyChainTech #SmallBusinessTech #OperationalEfficiency #HardwareDeployment #EndEffectors #SafetyGuarding #SystemIntegrator #FactoryFloor #CapitalExpenditure #RoboticsMarket #ProcessOptimization Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We look at the $2 billion tactile sensor market and why haptic feedback is the missing link for autonomous manipulation. Lucas and Luna break down how companies like HaptX and custom lab prototypes are using force-feedback loops to let robots 'feel' grip pressure, moving beyond simple vision-based control systems. #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #RoboticsIndustry #HapticFeedback #TactileSensors #AutonomousManipulation #SoftRobotics #IndustrialAutomation #SensorTechnology #HumanoidRobots #ForceControl #GripPressure #ManufacturingTech #AIHardware #RoboticsEngineering #SmartFactory #MachineLearning #TechInnovation Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
