We don't stand still, we're always moving forward
This episode of States of Matter marks a special milestone as we celebrate 10 years of the Women in RACHP network. Samantha Buckle and Miriam Rodway join the podcast to look back on how it all started, from the early training events and networking opportunities to the outreach activities that have helped introduce more people to careers in refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps and engineering. Along the way, they share some of the highlights, challenges and memorable moments that have shaped the network over the past decade. The conversation covers everything from STEM engagement and industry recognition to the growing membership and the increasing visibility of women across the sector. Samantha and Miriam also discuss what's next, including plans to work more closely with apprentices and academics, create new subgroups and make sure the network continues to evolve and support the next generation. It's a warm, honest and often uplifting conversation about the power of community, the importance of representation and what can happen when people come together to create positive change in an industry they care about.
