The Trucker’s Tax & Compliance Roadmap is an educational podcast created for owner-operators, fleet managers, trucking companies, and transportation professionals who want to better understand the tax and compliance responsibilities that come with operating heavy highway vehicles. Each episode breaks down complicated trucking tax topics into practical, easy-to-follow conversations covering HVUT, Form 2290 filing requirements, filing deadlines, Schedule 1, VIN corrections, suspended vehicles, amendments, payments, and fleet management. A major focus of the series is helping listeners understand what information they need before filing, how vehicle weight and first-use dates can affect their tax responsibilities, and why keeping accurate records is important. For anyone preparing an HVUT tax form 2290, the podcast provides useful educational context about the filing process, common mistakes, compliance considerations, and ways technology can simplify administrative work. The series can also explore real-world scenarios involving newly purchased trucks, mid-year vehicle additions, fleet filings, agricultural vehicles, leased vehicles, and cross-border carriers. The goal is not simply to talk about taxes, but to help trucking professionals build better compliance habits and spend less time confused by paperwork. Episodes can feature industry experts, tax professionals, fleet managers, and experienced trucking operators discussing practical lessons from the road and the office. Send 2290 can be naturally introduced as a technology resource that helps eligible truck owners and fleet operators e-file Form 2290 and receive their IRS-stamped Schedule 1 after IRS acceptance.
