The Web Development Podcast with Fexingo is Lucas and Luna's weekly exploration of the modern web stack, from frontend frameworks to backend infrastructure. Each episode dissects a specific technology or workflow — think React Server Components vs. traditional SSR, the economics of cloud-native databases, or the practical trade-offs of a micro-frontend architecture — with real benchmarks and open-source case studies. Lucas, a former full-stack engineer turned journalist, asks the hard questions about developer productivity and deployment costs, while Luna, a senior architect in a high-traffic fintech org, brings battle-tested insight into scaling and maintainability. Their conversations avoid hype: no breathless takes on the latest framework until they've stress-tested it against production data. The listener is a working developer (mid-level to senior) who needs to make informed decisions about tooling, architecture, and team practices. Expect arguments backed by numbers — like Redis

The Silent Tax of Third Party Scripts on Web Speed
Oct 4, 202611 minS5
Third party scripts quietly dominate modern web pages, often consuming half the total JavaScript downloaded by a browser. This episode dissects how ad tech, analytics tools, and chat widgets create render-blocking bottlenecks that hurt user experience and search rankings. We look at specific data showing that removing unnecessary third party code can improve load times significantly. The conversation covers practical strategies for auditing script dependencies, negotiating better terms with vendors, and leveraging modern browser features like resource hints to mitigate performance damage. #WebPerformance #ThirdPartyScripts #JavaScriptBloat #CoreWebVitals #BrowserOptimization #AdTechImpact #WebDevelopment #FrontendEngineering #SiteSpeed #AnalyticsTracking #ChatWidgets #RenderBlocking #ResourceHints #SEOStrategy #UserExperience #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechTrends Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We break down the shift from static web pages to dynamic, agent-driven interfaces using Stripe's recent API changes and Vercel's new AI SDK. Lucas and Luna explore how backend logic is moving closer to the user, what that means for developer productivity in October 2026, and why the traditional client-server model is evolving into a conversation-based architecture. #WebDevelopment #AIIntegration #StripeAPI #VercelSDK #AgentArchitecture #FrontendEvolution #BackendLogic #DeveloperTools #TechTrends2026 #WebStack #Automation #SoftwareEngineering #CloudComputing #DigitalTransformation #Programming #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechNews Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We explore how modern browsers are replacing jarring page jumps with smooth, cinematic view transitions. Using the new View Transitions API, developers can create native-feeling animations between routes without heavy JavaScript libraries. We break down the specific implementation details, discuss performance implications for October 2026 web standards, and examine why this shift matters for user retention and perceived application speed. #WebDevelopment #CSSAnimations #ViewTransitionsAPI #FrontendEngineering #UserExperience #BrowserPerformance #ModernWebStack #LucasAndLuna #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechInnovation #WebStandards #ReactRouting #SinglePageApps #DeveloperTools #DigitalStrategy #WebAccessibility #October2026 Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
In this episode, we break down the structural fragility of modern web applications caused by third-party JavaScript dependencies. We look at how a single vendor failure can cascade into application downtime, using the 2021 Cloudflare outage as a primary case study to illustrate supply chain risk in frontend code. Lucas and Luna discuss the concept of 'dependency hell' and why teams are moving toward strict bundle audits and local hosting of critical UI components. The conversation covers specific metrics on load time degradation and offers practical strategies for reducing external attack surfaces without sacrificing developer velocity. #WebDevelopment #FrontendEngineering #JavaScriptDependencies #SupplyChainSecurity #CloudflareOutage #BundleSize #WebPerformance #TechRiskManagement #DeveloperExperience #ThirdPartyScripts #CodeAudit #ModernWebStack #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechnologyTrends #SoftwareArchitecture #DigitalResilience #CodeReliability Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
We dig into the surprising rise of islands architecture and how modern browsers are handling state management natively, making heavy client-side bundles obsolete. Lucas breaks down why Shopify’s Polaris design system is shifting toward lightweight hydration, while Luna explores the real-world performance gains seen when teams ditch React for plain HTML and CSS. We look at specific metrics from a mid-sized SaaS company that cut their JavaScript payload by forty percent without sacrificing interactivity, proving that the web platform itself is becoming the most powerful framework available today. #WebPerformance #IslandsArchitecture #FrontendDevelopment #JavaScriptOptimization #ShopifyPolaris #WebComponents #StateManagement #HTMLNative #CSSContainment #ClientSideRendering #ServerSideHydration #BundleSize #CoreWebVitals #ProgressiveEnhancement #ModernWebStack #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #TechTrends2026 Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
