“Why won’t my child listen?” “Why does this keep happening?” “Am I doing something wrong?” If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, frustrated, or at a loss when it comes to your child’s behavior, you’re not alone, and you’re not failing. Dr. Long works to help parents approach behavior differently. Instead of labeling children as defiant, aggressive, or inattentive, she encourages parents to ask a more helpful question: What skill hasn’t been taught yet? Many of the behaviors that exhaust parents are not acts of disobedience, but signals that a child is missing the skills they need to succeed. This podcast is designed to shift the way you see behavior, and the way you respond to it. Through practical, research-informed conversations, we’ll help you move beyond yelling, punishment, and power struggles and toward strategies that actually work. You’ll learn how to teach skills through repetition, reinforcement, and connection, so you’re not just reacting to today’s behavior, but building the foundation for tomorrow. The goal isn’t quick fixes. It’s confident, intentional parenting that creates lasting change for your child and for you.

Season 2, Episode 10: I Thought Obedience Should Look Happy
Sep 1, 202617 min
This week, I’m sharing Mistake #10: I Thought Obedience Should Look Happy. I used to struggle when my children were upset, frustrated, or disappointed, even when they were still doing what I asked. In this episode, I talk about learning to make room for hard emotions while still holding clear boundaries. All feelings are welcome. All behavior is not. Season 2, Episode 9: I Thought Punishment Was the Best Teacher
Aug 26, 202624 min
This week, I’m sharing Mistake #9: I Thought Punishment Was the Best Teacher. For a long time, I believed punishment was the clearest way to teach obedience, respect, and authority. In this episode, I talk about why punishment and teaching are not the same thing, and how shifting from control to instruction can help children build the skills, understanding, and respect we actually want them to carry forward. Season 2 Episode 8: I Assumed the Worst About Their Behavior
Aug 18, 202623 min
This week, I’m sharing Mistake #8: I Assumed the Worst About Their Behavior. Looking back, I sometimes saw my children’s mistakes as character flaws when they were really signs of skills they had not learned yet. In this episode, I talk about the difference between judging behavior and identifying the missing skill, and why that shift can completely change the way we respond to our children. Season 2, Episode 7: I Saw What Needed Fixing Before I Saw What Was Good
Aug 11, 202616 min
This week, I’m talking about a parenting mistake I didn’t recognize for a long time: focusing more on my children’s shortcomings than their strengths. I became so aware of what needed correcting or improving that I sometimes missed what was already good. In this episode, I share why our children need us to notice their growth, strengths, and character just as intentionally as we notice the areas where they still need guidance. Season 2, Episode 6: I Couldn't Sit With Their Hard Emotions
Aug 4, 202619 min
This week, I’m sharing Mistake #6: I Tried to Make my Children's Bad Feelings Go Away. I often responded to my children’s difficult emotions by distracting them with something fun or trying to quickly make them feel better. In this episode, I discuss ambivalence, the ability to hold two truths and emotions at the same time, and why our children need us to sit with their feelings instead of rushing them away. Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
