Think your first HYROX is about fitness? It's not. It's about not making the 10 mistakes everyone makes. Ben and Jackson run through the 10 things that will actually get you through your first HYROX, then Jackson opens the book on 3 years of racing. He's taken 10 minutes off his solo Pro time, from 1:10 down to 60 minutes, and none of it came from just training harder. The mistakes, the learnings, and how our training has changed as the sport, and our understanding of it, has evolved. Inside the episode: The 10 things we wish someone told us before our first race Why your first HYROX is won in the plan, not on the day Jackson's 3-year journey from 1:10 to 60 minutes in solo Pro The mistakes that cost us the most, pacing, station strategy, and compromised running How HYROX training in 2026 looks nothing like it did 3 years ago What we'd do differently if we were starting from scratch today Links - Become a founding Sparkie Member 1:1 Coaching with Coach Jackson Follow us on Instagram
Ben and Jackson talk overtraining. The signs, the symptoms, how to avoid it, what it actually is, and their own experiences training themselves into the hole. This one's Part 1. What overtraining really means for endurance and HYROX athletes, and why it's a nervous system problem, not a sore legs problem. Inside the episode: The difference between fatigue, overreaching, and true overtraining The early signs, elevated resting HR, suppressed HRV, dreading sessions you usually love Why hitting every session while getting slower is a warning, not fitness How life stress lands on the same ledger as training load Both of our stories, what we ignored and what it cost us How to avoid the hole, hard days hard, easy days easy, and a recovery week you actually take Listen now, link in bio. Part 2 covers the way out. Links - Become a founding Sparkie Member - 1:1 Coaching with Coach Jackson - Follow us on Instagram
Ben and Jackson are back for a full listener Q&A on episode 92. They call out another podcast for its take on getting "chicked" and the poor form of it, before getting into rage-baiting in the endurance world. They also break down an argument they got pulled into online recently, answer your endurance questions, and "What really fires up Jackson and Ben" Links - Become a founding Sparkie Member - 1:1 Coaching with Coach Jackson - Follow us on Instagram

Jun 8, 202634 min
On this episode of the TrainHybrd Podcast, Ben and Jackson dive into the world of trail running and why it's a completely different beast to pounding the pavement. From technical terrain and relentless climbs to pacing mistakes and trail etiquette, we unpack what makes trail racing so much tougher than most runners expect. We also tackle an important question: can you actually be both over prepared and under tall for a race? The answer might surprise you. If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
