Who Wrote the Story You Tell About Your Trauma? | Trauma Rock Stars™
Sep 29, 202614 min
Send us Fan Mail Why does an old memory still make your body brace even after years of doing the work? If you're waiting for the day your trauma stops mattering, this episode explains why that day isn't coming — and what actually changes in trauma recovery instead. Tracy Smaldino breaks down why the story never changes but the arrangement does, and why the version you've been playing was probably set by someone else. A remix doesn't change a single lyric. Same words, different arrangement, completely different experience of the song. In this episode: - Why you keep waiting for a day that was never coming - What actually changes in healing — tempo, what's in front, and how the story ends - Why someone else set the mix you've been playing - The belief Tracy carried for 30 years that felt like a fact and wasn't - The difference between "no one can help me" and "those people couldn't help me" - Why a remix is not a cover - How to separate what happened from what you decided it meant - 5 steps to take the board back "You don't get to change the lyrics. But you were never the only person who could be at that board." — Tracy Smaldino SONGS THAT SAVED US — Healing Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0mQfkVQtw1eB1eNSsD9ZQy Newsletter — every Sunday: https://traumarockstars.com/#newsletter All links: https://linktr.ee/traumarockstars SUPPORT THE SHOW: ☕ Buy Me a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/traumarockstars ️ Become a Supporter: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2526063/supporters/new Support the show
Why Do You Keep Coming Back to the Same Wound? | Trauma Rock Stars™
Sep 22, 202611 min
Send us Fan Mail Learn why the same wound keeps resurfacing in your trauma healing, why that's not a sign the work isn't working, and how to find the one thread your entire recovery keeps circling back to. In this trauma recovery podcast episode, Tracy Smaldino explains why you don't have to go find your why — you already have one, and it's been repeating for years. Jon Bon Jovi said songwriting is a formula you stick to. But the hook is the part you can't manufacture. Songwriters don't pick it. It picks them. In this episode: - Why the structure of healing is learnable but the reason it matters to you isn't - Why doing all the right practices can still feel like running someone else's program - 5 places your hook is hiding in plain sight - Why the wound that keeps returning is the center of your song, not a failure - The "why not" question and what your reasons sound like out loud - What it costs to stay exactly as you are for another five years - How to build your practice around your hook "Your hook coming back around is not proof the work isn't working. It's the center of your song. It's supposed to keep returning." — Tracy Smaldino SONGS THAT SAVED US — Healing Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0mQfkVQtw1eB1eNSsD9ZQy Newsletter — every Sunday: https://traumarockstars.com/#newsletter All links: https://linktr.ee/traumarockstars SUPPORT THE SHOW: ☕ Buy Me a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/traumarockstars ️ Become a Supporter: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2526063/supporters/new Support the show
Does Trauma Healing Still Count When Nobody Sees It? | Trauma Rock Stars™
Sep 15, 202612 min
Send us Fan Mail Learn why healing in silence counts, how to keep going when nobody notices the trauma recovery work you're doing, and the difference between hiding your healing and keeping it private. In this trauma recovery podcast episode, Tracy Smaldino shares the years she healed quietly before anyone knew — and why some of it she has still never told a single person. Early 2000s. House of Blues. An unknown band played their whole heart out to fifty people who weren't there to see them. That band was Linkin Park. In this episode: - Why the hardest season of healing is the one nobody witnesses - Nobody claps when you don't take the bait or finally say no - Suffering in silence vs. healing in silence - The years Tracy healed quietly before anyone knew - The difference between hiding and privacy - Why you're allowed to keep part of your healing just for you - How your private healing changes every room you walk into - 5 ways to keep going when no one is watching "Hiding is when you can't tell anyone. Privacy is when you could and you choose not to. One of those keeps you sick. The other one is holy." — Tracy Smaldino SONGS THAT SAVED US — Healing Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0mQfkVQtw1eB1eNSsD9ZQy Newsletter — every Sunday: https://traumarockstars.com/#newsletter All links: https://linktr.ee/traumarockstars SUPPORT THE SHOW: ☕ Buy Me a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/traumarockstars ️ Become a Supporter: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2526063/supporters/new Support the show
Why Trauma Survivors Shouldn't Wing It in Hard Situations | Trauma Rock Stars™
Sep 8, 202615 min
Send us Fan Mail Learn how to prepare for a hard conversation, set boundaries, and stop freezing up when someone crosses a line. In this trauma recovery podcast episode, trauma survivor Tracy Smaldino explains why you go blank in the moment, how to rehearse your boundary before you need it, and why you don't owe anyone an explanation. Michael Bolton locked his green room door for 45 minutes before every show. It sounded terrible through the wall. Then he walked out and delivered one of the best performances I ever saw in that building. Nobody good walks out cold. In this episode: ✦ Why you freeze in the moment and think of the perfect response 20 minutes later ✦ What happens when you do healing work cold — the 11 pm journal, the unprepared therapy session ✦ How to prepare for a specific hard event you know is coming ✦ Why rehearsing one line out loud changes everything ✦ Why you don't owe anyone an explanation for your boundary ✦ How distance alone can say everything without a single word ✦ How to decide whose energy you keep close before you walk in the room YOUR WARM-UP: 1️⃣ Pick the show — name what's coming 2️⃣ Decide what you need to leave with 3️⃣ Rehearse one line out loud 4️⃣ Decide the distance in advance 5️⃣ Plan your exit before you go in 6️⃣ Five minutes in the car before you walk through the door ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 — The Green Room Next to My Office 3:00 — You Cannot Go From Zero to Full Output 6:30 — Warming Up for What You Know Is Coming 10:30 — Rehearse the Boundary Before You Need It 14:30 — Building the Ramp 18:00 — Your Rock Star Takeaway SONGS THAT SAVED US — Healing Playlist: For the car, before you go in. Why Did You Stop Doing the Healing Work That Was Working? | Trauma Rock Stars™
Sep 1, 202613 min
Send us Fan Mail Learn how to restart your healing journey after you fall off, and why taking a break from the work doesn't mean you quit. In this trauma recovery podcast episode, trauma survivor Tracy Smaldino shares why healing burnout is real, why fall is the true reset season, and how the emotional weight she was carrying kept her body from letting go for decades. Every tour has a break in it. Coming back is always harder than starting. That doesn't mean the tour is over. In this episode: - Why healing burnout is real and why your break was necessary, not a failure - What touring actually does to a body — and why healing is the exact same job - The story you tell yourself about the gap and why it does more damage than the gap - Why fall is the real reset season, not January - Why you shouldn't come back to something new - How unprocessed emotional weight kept Tracy's body holding on for decades - Why the inside work has to come before the outside work - 5 steps to get back on tour this week "Missing your practice is a gap. Believing you're someone who can't sustain a practice is an identity. One of those takes a week to fix." — Tracy Smaldino SONGS THAT SAVED US — Healing Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0mQfkVQtw1eB1eNSsD9ZQy Newsletter — every Sunday: https://traumarockstars.com/#newsletter All links: https://linktr.ee/traumarockstars SUPPORT THE SHOW: ☕ Buy Me a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/traumarockstars ️ Become a Supporter: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2526063/supporters/new Support the show
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
