Raymond Horsch and the Investigation Into Seven Missing Women
Police investigating Philadelphia artist and filmmaker Raymond Horsch are examining an enormous collection of digital material as they try to determine whether his disturbing fictional work may have connections to real missing women. The investigation began after Horsch’s son, Eugene, was arrested following an encounter involving identification belonging to a missing woman. A subsequent search of Raymond Horsch’s home uncovered extensive digital files, writings, artwork and video footage that investigators are now reviewing. Authorities have identified several missing or unidentified women while examining the material, and more than a million pieces of digital evidence are reportedly under review. No bodies have been recovered, and investigators are still working to establish what the evidence shows and whether any crimes can be connected to the women’s disappearances. In this episode of True Crime Recaps, we examine the Horsch investigation, the evidence authorities say they have uncovered, and the unanswered questions surrounding the missing women.
