The real question isn’t just: “How do I raise good kids?” It’s: “Who do I want my children to become?” And then comes the harder question: Am I willing to become that person first? Matt Beaudreau has spent two decades in education working with young people and families, and his argument is brutally simple: Our kids don’t need another version of “do as I say, not as I do.” They need adults willing to examine their own psychology, health, marriage, finances, faith, habits, standards, relationships and distractions — and actually live the things they want their children to inherit.
