TBT: Dressing French Doors & A Peek Inside My Design Diary | Uploft Interior Design
Aug 11, 202626 min
In this throwback episode of the Uploft Interior Design, I’m tackling the surprisingly tricky question of how to dress French doors, including why I’d skip traditional drapes on a contemporary front entry and consider sleek custom cellular blinds instead. I also take you inside my design diary and share what I’ve been working on with a longtime client, from spotting serious space and storage challenges in a potential $3 million Manhattan apartment to helping him pivot to a rental with a much better footprint—and walking into one of the messiest apartments I’ve encountered in years along the way. It’s a mix of practical design advice, behind-the-scenes client stories, and a candid look at what life as an interior designer can really be like. A Fortune Teller Designed This Home?! & Hulu's "My Grandfather Charles Manson" | Uploft Interior Design
Aug 6, 202626 min
In this episode of the Uploft Interior Design, I explored how interior design goes far beyond choosing furniture and colors by sharing real-life client stories that highlighted the importance of embracing change and working within constraints. I talked about designing a home around unique feng shui-inspired requirements, helping longtime homeowners adapt to new chapters in life, and encouraging clients to see their homes as partners with both strengths and limitations. I also reflected on how thoughtfully designed spaces can support personal growth during major life transitions, such as divorce or downsizing. To wrap up the episode, I reviewed Hulu's My Grandfather, Charles Manson, explaining why I found the documentary more focused on the filmmaker's personal journey than on its intriguing premise, leaving me less impressed than I expected. In this throwback episode of the Uploft Interior Design, I answer three listener questions all about creating better living rooms, from blending contemporary furniture with the timeless character of a historic home to solving TV glare from oversized windows and arranging a space for better entertaining. I explain why every successful design starts with a personal two-word phrase that guides every decision, from furniture and textures to color palettes and accessories, and I share how finding the right inspiration piece makes the rest of the room come together naturally. I also discuss practical solutions for managing natural light with window treatments, why TV placement matters, and my step-by-step process for creating a functional floor plan by prioritizing how you actually use your space. I encourage listeners to focus on intentional design choices that create beautiful, comfortable living rooms tailored to their own lifestyles while inviting them to send in their own design questions for future episodes. What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
