Voices in the Game Episode 27: Jake Lehman | Live4Evan Fundraiser & Runner
We have had a ton of fun conversations on Voices in the Game over the past year, but this is one of our most meaningful episodes. It highlights one of the greatest strengths of sports: bringing communities together to unite people, raise awareness, inspire generosity, and make a lasting impact. That is exactly what today's conversation is about with my best friend, Jake Lehman! Jake grew up in a sports household in the Boston area, cheering on his beloved hometown teams, including the Patriots and Red Sox, while also excelling on the football field throughout his life. His journey eventually led him to Stonehill College, where he played NCAA Division II football. Jake is also deeply involved with a remarkable Boston-area organization called Live4Evan, which provides financial support to families by offering temporary housing while their child receives treatment for congenital heart disease. He has been leading the efforts to organize the organization's inaugural golf tournament, taking place this Thursday in Northborough, Massachusetts. In this episode, Jake discusses how the event is bringing the community together to raise money for a cause that means so much to him and countless others!
