On the roads, drivers should watch for delays in Eastwood, where a two-car crash on Blaxland Road just past First Avenue has closed one northbound lane, with emergency services on site. In Homebush, a car breakdown on the M4 westbound at the tunnel exit has closed lane one of three, with speeds reduced to 40 km/h. For train commuters, Blue Mountains maintenance work continues until Friday, 21 August. Buses are replacing trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria, with some services towards Mount Victoria leaving up to 15 minutes earlier than usual. Trains continue to run between Mount Victoria and Central on a changed timetable, and Bathurst services are operating to adjusted schedules.
