Episode 301: Great Falls' Unexpected Art Gallery
Great Falls has art in some unexpected places, including the windows of a downtown parking garage. On Episode 301, Rebecca and Shannon are joined by artists Kyle Daugherty and Liz Lauver, Great Falls Montana Tourism's Content and Events Director, to talk about the Great Falls Urban Art Project. They share how the project got started, how it works, their own installations, and how rotating public art adds to Great Falls' creative culture. The newest Urban Art Project installation is dedicated to Dan Price, a friend and avid supporter of the arts. Reception: • Saturday, September 26 at 5 p.m. • 315 1st Avenue South, followed by a celebration at KellerGeist • Appetizers, cake, no-host bar, open mic and music from Natalie and Cameron Nicolson Learn more and follow the Great Falls Urban Art Project: https://www.facebook.com/GFUrbanArtProject IG: @LizLauver and @nonayme85
