5P: Pressure, Perspective and Public Trust
This hour features three conversations centered on leadership, accountability, and rising pressure. The show begins with a look at Milwaukee's search for a new public library director after the city rescinded a nomination just one day before the candidate was set to relocate, raising questions about oversight and the hiring process. CBS News correspondent Major Garrett then provides a national perspective on the ongoing standoff with Iran, discussing negotiations, economic pressure, energy prices, and why the administration's long-term strategy has yet to produce a breakthrough. The hour concludes with Packers insider Alex Strouf, who examines Green Bay's offensive struggles, concerns about Jordan Love and the offensive line, fan frustration at Lambeau Field, and why confidence in the team is rapidly fading both locally and nationally.
