The prosecution of 11 people accused of defrauding the Virgin Islands Medicaid program will unfold over five trials stretching from November through April 2027. The Department of Human Services is urging SNAP recipients to complete required paperwork and prepare for new federal work requirements that could affect approximately 5,000 Virgin Islanders beginning September 1.
