EP61: When He Truly Wanted It, He Quit Chewing Tobacco - Jeff Smith
Jeff enjoyed the buzz of chewing in his youth. But after years of the habit, it lost its appeal and started making him feel ill. After trying to quit many times, he found his real motivation in simply wanting to live and do so healthily. He tried various tactics along the way to trick himself into quitting, but he finally found the one that got him through the worst of withdrawals to a better life on the other side. About Jeff: Jeff Smith is a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant. He did a variety of work mostly in information technology. He started the podcast Vroom Vroom Veer in May 2015 to capture stories of when life can veer in new and interesting ways. Sometimes we safely navigate those terms and sometimes we crash. Either way, a veer always makes a great story, to help us all learn and grow. ✨Find Jeff at: https://vroomvroomveer.com/ Struggling with Cravings? I’ve been there! It took me 15 years to quit smoking because I had no tools to cope with the physical and emotional intensity of cravings. That’s why I created a free minicourse of the tools and mindset shifts that actually worked for me to finally quit smoking for good. I hope the minicourse can help you move forward on your own path to quitting smoking. Get the minicourse here https://www.honoryourheart.net/craving
