Lucas and Luna dissect the mechanics of YouTube channel growth — not by chasing algorithm hacks, but by studying real creator case studies and platform data. Each episode takes a single metric (like audience retention, CTR, or watch time from browse features) and maps it to a specific production decision: how to structure a video hook, why a certain thumbnail outperformed, or when to pivot from short-form to long-form. Lucas, a former journalist, presses for evidence — 'Show me the YouTube Analytics report' — while Luna, an engaged creator herself, tests every insight against her own channel's numbers. Together they look at channels like MKBHD for tech, Ali Abdaal for productivity, or Patrick Boyle for finance, pulling out tactical lessons without copying their format. For the listener building a serious YouTube presence — not a viral hobby — the show answers: What actually moves the needle on subscriber growth when you have no ad budget? How do you rank for high-competition keywords w

Why YouTube Video Scheduling Is Key to Consistent Channel Growth
Aug 21, 20268 minS4
In episode 164 of YouTube Marketing with Fexingo, Lucas and Luna dig into the underappreciated power of video publishing schedules. They explore how a consistent upload cadence signals reliability to both the algorithm and your audience, using real examples like tech reviewer Marques Brownlee's daily drops at a fixed time. The episode breaks down the psychology of viewer expectation, the analytics behind optimal posting windows, and how scheduling tools like YouTube Studio's built-in scheduler can turn sporadic uploads into a growth engine. Lucas shares a concrete case of a small channel that doubled its subscribers by shifting from random uploads to a strict Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday schedule, and Luna challenges the 'just be consistent' mantra by noting what happens when life gets in the way. They also touch on the risks of over-publishing and burnout, and why quality always trumps sheer volume. By the end, you'll have a practical framework for building a schedule that works for your niche and your real life, helping you turn casual viewers into loyal subscribers. #YouTubeScheduling #VideoUploadSchedule #ContentCalendar #ChannelGrowth #SubscriberGrowth #AudienceEngagement #YouTubeStrategy #ConsistentUploads #VideoMarketing #CreatorTips #YouTubeAlgorithm #MarquesBrownlee #UploadCadence #ViewerExpectation #YouTubeStudio #Marketing #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

How YouTube A/B Testing Can Double Your Click-Through Rate
Aug 19, 20269 minS4
In episode 162 of YouTube Marketing with Fexingo, Lucas and Luna dive into YouTube's built-in A/B testing feature for thumbnails—a tool many creators overlook. They walk through a real case: a mid-size tech channel that tested two thumbnail styles for the same video and saw a 62% lift in click-through rate, which translated into a 30% jump in views within a week. Along the way, they unpack how the testing algorithm works, why you need enough impressions to get reliable results, and how to pick meaningful test variants rather than guessing. They also discuss common pitfalls, like testing too many elements at once or ending tests too early. If you've ever wondered why some thumbnails just seem to 'work' while others flop, this episode gives you a practical, data-driven approach to finding out what your audience actually clicks on—without relying on gut feeling. #YouTubeMarketing #ABTesting #ThumbnailStrategy #ClickThroughRate #ChannelGrowth #VideoSEO #YouTubeAnalytics #ContentStrategy #MarketingTips #CreatorEconomy #YouTubeGrowth #VideoMarketing #AudienceInsights #DataDrivenMarketing #YouTubeTips #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #MarketingPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo

Why YouTube Video Titles Beat Thumbnails for Clicks
Aug 17, 20268 minS4
In episode 160 of YouTube Marketing with Fexingo, Lucas and Luna dig into a counterintuitive truth: your video title matters more than your thumbnail for getting clicks. Using a 2025 TubeBuddy study of 80,000 videos, they break down why titles drive 70% of click-through rate, how the first three words carry the weight, and why the 'clickbait thumbnail' arms race is losing steam. They walk through a real-world example—a cooking channel that lifted CTR by 35% just by rewriting titles, and they share a simple framework for testing titles before you even hit publish. If you've been obsessing over custom thumbnails while your titles are an afterthought, this episode will flip your priority list. Plus, a quick note on how listener support keeps the show ad-free. #VideoTitles #YouTubeSEO #ClickThroughRate #ThumbnailStrategy #YouTubeGrowth #ContentMarketing #VideoMarketing #TubeBuddy #TitleTesting #YouTubeAlgorithm #AudienceBuilding #CreatorTips #Marketing #Business #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast #YouTubeTips #VideoStrategy Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
