Adam McKay, born on April 17, 1968, is an American filmmaker known for his work as a director. He began his career in the 1990s as a head writer for the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. Following his tenure at SNL, McKay collaborated frequently with comedian Will Ferrell on numerous comedy films during the 2000s, including Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Step Brothers, and The Other Guys. Their partnership extended to co-writing and co-producing various television series and films, as well as co-founding the website Funny or Die under their company Gary Sanchez Productions. In addition to his work with Ferrell, McKay has directed several satirical films such as The Big Short, Vice, and Don't Look Up. His screenplay adaptation for The Big Short earned him numerous awards, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA, and a Critics' Choice Award. In 2019, he established Hyperobject Industries, a production company through which he continues to produce cinematic projects.

A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.

Do you offer a free trial?
