Albert Flynn DeSilver, born on October 2, 1968, is an American poet, writer, memoirist, novelist, speaker, publisher, and workshop leader. He is the founder of DeSilver Publishing, a hybrid publishing company based in the San Francisco Bay Area that publishes books across a range of genres including memoir, fiction, spirituality, and family legacy. DeSilver has been publishing for over 30 years, beginning with his The Owl Press imprint in the 1990s, and his work has appeared in more than one hundred literary journals worldwide, such as The New York Times, ZYZZYVA, Chicago Review, and others from Japan, France, and Australia. He served as Marin County's first Poet Laureate from 2008 to 2010. Among his published works are the latest book, SOME VOID: New & Selected Poems 1996-2026, as well as Writing as a Path to Awakening, based on his workshops and published in 2017, and the memoir Beamish Boy (2012), which was praised by Kirkus Reviews for its poignancy and inspiration. DeSilver’s educational background includes a BFA in photography from the University of Colorado and an MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute. He is also a speaker and trainer who has presented at TEDxSanta Cruz and shared stages with authors such as Maxine Hong Kingston, Cheryl Strayed, and Elizabeth Gilbert. His teaching engagements include workshops at the Esalen Institute, Omega Institute, and Spirit Rock Meditation Center. He resides in Northern California.

A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.

Do you offer a free trial?

Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
