About Jacqueline
Jacqueline Najuma Stewart is an American cinema studies scholar and television host for Turner Classic Movies. She is a professor at the University of Chicago and has served as the inaugural artistic director and president of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures from 2021 to 2024. Stewart is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Film Preservation Board, and has been recognized as a MacArthur Fellow. Born in Chicago, she earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Stanford University and obtained master's and PhD degrees in English from the University of Chicago. In 2005, she authored her debut non-fiction book, Migrating to the Movies, which examined the relationship between classical Hollywood cinema and the African-American experience during the Great Migration. Stewart has also been involved in various initiatives within the arts community, including serving as chairwoman for Black Cinema House and founding the South Side Home Movie Project. She collaborated with her husband Jake Austen on the public-access television series Chic-a-Go-Go and worked with Charles Musser on curating the DVD set Pioneers of African-American Cinema. These efforts led to her appearances on Turner Classic Movies, including the TCM Classic Film Festival, and in 2019, she was hired to host the Silent Sunday Nights programming block on late-night weekends.

What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
